Dear Transylvania County Republicans,

Reasons why you should join the Transylvania County GOP’s Century Club:

• You’ll lose ten pounds of unwanted weight

• You’ll look ten years younger

• Your odds of winning the lottery increase

• Your kids will start listening to you

• Your friends and family will find you more interesting

Now that I’ve got your attention, let’s get serious about why you should join:

• You believe that Democrat policies are destroying the country you love.  Century Club members are fighting to Defend America!

• You want to join the fight but don’t have time to volunteer.  Our all-volunteer army depends on funding provided by Century Club members to get our message out to the voters.

• You want to maximize the impact of your political contributions by keeping them in the local community.  Our Century Club members help elect conservative candidates in Transylvania County, including Board of Education members and County Commissioners.

The Century Club is the Transylvania County Republican Party’s primary source of funding.  We use member contributions, along with our all-volunteer staff, to get conservative candidates elected up and down the ballot.  Specifically, member contributions allow us to maintain a permanent headquarters operation, host voter registration and get-out-vote events, work with the Board of Elections to ensure free and fair elections, and broadcast our message through various forms of media.

Every dollar we collect from Century Club members is honored and protected.  Our seven-member Finance Committee meets monthly and is committed to safeguarding member contributions.  We establish budgets focused on allocating resources in areas that give us the most “bang for the buck”.  We monitor our spending and audit our processes regularly.  

Please join the Century Club and pass the word to fellow conservatives.  Doing so may not improve your odds of winning the lottery, but it will help local patriots committed to Defending America!

For the good of the order

There is a TC GOP Executive Committee Meeting Thursday, June 1, at 7 p.m., at Headquarters (470 Asheville Highway). All Republicans and Conservative Unaffiliateds are welcome to attend.

Continuing through April 2024, we will tally the number of first-time guests at our breakfast. The person or “sponsor” bringing the most first timers over the next 12 months will earn a “paid for admission” to the 2024 NCGOP Convention. This includes the $75.00 delegate fee and the five ticketed meals (w/ speakers galore). The value of that ticket this year (w/ tax): $544.95. A minimum of 15 first-time guests are required to win.

A “Patriot Pizza” night at Headquarters (470 Asheville Highway) is set for Monday, June 26 (4:30 doors open, pizza served at 4:45). We’re planning to attend the Board of Commissioners meeting (101 S. Broad St.) at 6. Click the link below to RSVP.
